Carpigiani History

Carpigiani was established in 1946 with 12 employees, and began producing the early commercial ice cream equipment known as autogelateria.

Such was the success of the company that in 1969 the company moved to the current premises in Anzola Emilia , on the outskirts of Bologna - an area of over 80,000 sq.metres. During this period the production increased and other models were added to what had become a very extensive range of equipment.

Today the quality and scope of equipment offered by Carigiani can meet the requirements and needs from the artisan ice-cream maker through to the most modern quick serve restaurant.
Ninety-eight industry-specific patents qualify Carpigiani as an industry leader.

Carpigiani's commitment to the pursuit of technological excellence , together with a global investment strategy for the continuing development programme , provides a world-wide assurance for efficient and effective technical service and prompt commercial support.
